The Aligned Conference, Presented by Promoboxx, Announces Winners of the 2018 Aligned Awards


Hill’s Pet Nutrition, OluKai, STAINMASTER®, and The North Face Recognized for Empowering Local Retailers with Outstanding Co-Branded Digital Marketing Campaigns


BOSTON, NOVEMBER 1, 2018 ​– Promoboxx, the only retail marketing platform powered by brands, and sponsor of the Aligned Conference, recently announced Hill’s Pet Nutrition, OluKai, STAINMASTER®, and The North Face as winners of the 2018 Aligned Awards. The Aligned Awards recognize the best retail marketing campaigns run on the Promoboxx platform in the categories of Best Overall Campaign, Best Inspirational Campaign, Best Innovative Campaign, and Best Product Campaign.

Eighteen brand campaign finalists were selected based on their originality, creativity, innovation, and local consumer impact. This year’s award winners received the most votes through online voting open to the public, including Aligned Conference attendees, and showcased the most impressive digital marketing efforts that support local retail, extend brand reach, and drive in-store sales.

This year’s Aligned Awards winners are:

Best Overall Campaign: The North Face

The Best Overall Campaign category recognized campaigns that achieved significant results in retailer activation and consumer engagement. Retailer activation refers to retailers participating in campaigns on Promoboxx. The North Face Spring Styles campaign targeted consumers near outdoor specialty storefronts with both an organic and a paid advertising strategy. This integrated campaign strategy resulted in over four million consumer impressions and a 98% increase in active retailers compared to their previous campaigns. See the full campaign.

Best Product Campaign: STAINMASTER®

The Best Product Campaign category recognized campaigns that supported marketing efforts to increase awareness and local sales of specific brand products. STAINMASTER® retailers offer a unique warranty that covers any stain from paw prints to spaghetti—so the STAINMASTER® team created a fun, engaging campaign to educate consumers on everything they could spill on their carpet within the warranty, including clever creative about the types of spills that happen every day. STAINMASTER®’s Platinum Promise campaign drove consumers to an interactive landing page where consumers could fill out a lead generation form for the independent flooring retailer to contact them. At the time of publication, this campaign had driven almost 40,000 Facebook impressions and over 700 clicks on Facebook and Twitter. See the full campaign.

Best Innovative Campaign: OluKai

The Best Innovative Campaign category recognized campaigns that took a groundbreaking approach to retail marketing. OluKai’s Pint Night campaign provided retailers with content inviting local shoppers to come to an ‘OluKai Pint Night’ at their nearest retail store, where shoppers enjoyed a cold pint while they heard about OluKai’s mission and products. By increasing foot traffic to each store, the campaign helped retail employees convert new customers and drive OluKai sales. One retailer reported selling 15 pairs of OluKai shoes as a direct result of the Pint Night they hosted. See the full campaign.

Best Inspirational Campaign: Hill’s Pet Nutrition

The Best Inspirational Campaign category recognized campaigns that were created to raise awareness and support of nonprofit and goodwill organizations. Hill’s Pet Nutrition supported the national Clear the Shelters event, the largest single-day pet adoption event in the country. Hill’s Pet Nutrition supported local retailers, veterinarians, and clinics interested by providing them with digital and social content to create one united effort for an incredible cause. Hill’s Pet Nutrition increased the reach of the Clear the Shelters event, and the campaign resulted in over 11,000 pet adoptions within four days. See the full campaign.
