One of the ten core values of Promoboxx is to “Celebrate Accomplishment,” so when we found out that we hit 10,000 active retailers using Promoboxx, we decided to take a company trip to Six Flags New England.
As a growing company, we were starting to see some cultural separation between sales, product, and client marketing, so we decided to run a lightweight team building photo contest. We broke the groups into four and challenged the teams to take pictures and post them to Twitter using the hashtag #pboxx6. There were four categories; best team photo, craziest photo, best photobomb, and team that tried the hardest.
The winners received points on our employee rewards platform YouEarnedIt, that can be redeemed for personal stuff like Apple gift cards, or for team building stuff like an “Office Happy Hour” at our favorite local watering hole, JJ Foley’s.
