The Promoboxx team continues to grow! We’d like you to meet our new Enterprise Sales Representative, Sam Gauthier. We are so excited to welcome Sam to our team, and to get to know her better, we asked her a few questions. Check out the answers below!
I was born and raised in Braintree, MA and am the oldest of four girls. I graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a degree in International Business and spent the year after graduation teaching English in Taiwan.
After a year of traveling, eating dumplings daily, and teaching, I moved back to Boston and started my sales career with EMC, which was an amazing place to begin my career and get acquainted with the tech world. Before joining Promoboxx, I also worked at two other Boston startups.
Everything from the product to the customers to the culture and people. It’s rare to find a startup that’s already profitable with such prominent name brands as customers. I was excited by the opportunities for the company and for my own personal growth here.
Habit. It’s a boutique in South Boston that’s conveniently located down the street from where I live. I usually pop in whenever I need a last-minute outfit and always walk out with some great clothing!
My mom always says, “Life is all about choices, so make good ones!” You choose how you act, how you treat people, where you work, etc. At the end of the day, everything you do is a choice and every one is important. I always have this advice in the back of my head and try to make the best possible choices I can.
I Am Malala, by Malala Yousafzi. I highly recommend this book. It’s a true story about a young girl in Pakistan who stood up for her right to an education. Very inspirational!
I love doing anything on the water! I also love picking out a new restaurant to try in the area.
