The National Retail Federation (NRF) expects total retail sales to reach up to $4.44 trillion by the end of 2021. That’s a growth rate between between 10.5% and 13.5% compared to 2020.

  • In 2020, 42% of North American shoppers discovered a brand or product on social media via a sponsored post or paid ad. 
  • 70% of North American shoppers took at least one action to support a local or independent small business during the holiday season.
