Promoboxx Helps Retailers Go Social

With every campaign we launch, we always stress the importance of retailers frequently sharing their co-branded campaigns on all of their online channels such as Facebook, Twitter and their website.

One of our main priorities is getting retailers active on social media, so that they can promote their local business and drive brand awareness. We help them by providing the tools that they need to easily share new and engaging content with their online fans. The image featured on the right displays our new and improved share page. This page makes it easy for retailers to log in to their Promoboxx account and distribute their campaign on all of their online channels in just a few seconds.

It is no secret that social media is an important part of any small business’s online marketing strategy, but just how important is it? To explain the significance, AYTM Market Research surveyed 2,000 Internet users, and put together the infographic titled Branding: How it Works in the Social Media Age.

Two interesting statistics garnered from this study are that 85% of internet users have Facebook accounts and 49% have a Twitter account. These statistics motivate us to help retailers understand what powerful tools their social channels are. Not only can they connect their businesses directly with a majority of their consumers, but these channels also provide the opportunity to grab the attention of new customers and help generate new business.

AYTM Market Research found that 84% of Facebook users who have liked a brand are active on Facebook daily, showing that this is an effective way for retailers to communicate product announcements, events going on in-store and any news that may be relevant to their online audience.

The study also pointed out that more people actually prefer short updates from brands on social media versus in the form of email messages and  80% of people prefer to get coupons, promos, and discounts from brands via social channels. This furthermore demonstrates how vital it is for retailers to share their campaigns and important brand updates on social media.

We talk to retailers every day and understand how busy they are in store, but we also know how important their online presence is. That is why we try and make it as fast and as easy of a process for them to share new content and relevant campaigns with their online fans.
