Welcome to Part IV of our Retailers Rule! interview series. As I mentioned in the previous appliance dealer interview, our retailers are awesome and their engagement in the platform is very important to us. As part of our mission to connect brands with their retailers, we conducted our Retailers Rule! Interview series to gather retailer insights across industries.

For the fourth installment of the series, we spoke with Mari Duncan, from Hawkinson Kia. Hawkinson Kia is located in Matteson, Illinois.

What has your experience with Promoboxx been like so far?

We use Promoboxx a lot for Facebook posts. There is always good content and information so we always use it.

How does social media and online marketing impact your in-store success?

Social media helps to engage customers and get more interest. Facebook and Twitter are less for specific sales and more for reaching customers. It’s more about friendly, interesting content than selling cars.

If you could change or add any one feature to the Promoboxx platform, what would it be and why?

There’s not much I would change! I find it pretty simple and easy to use.

What has been your favorite Kia campaign so far and why?

I’ve had a lot of success with the giveaway campaigns (test drive for tickets, etc). They seem to get the most engagement.

What is your biggest piece of advice to brands who are looking to connect with their retailers?

Video content is the most engaging content, so I would say provide retailers with more videos to market.

What is your biggest piece of advice for those retailers just starting on Promoboxx?

Make good use of the customization features. if you don’t put your own spin on there, its just like any other boring post.
