Meet Promoboxx’s newest Retail Activation Interns, Catherine Daigle and Ken Bousquet. We are thrilled to welcome them to our team. To get to know them better, we asked them a few questions. Check out their answers!
Catherine is studying Communications and Ancient Civilization at Boston College
What made you want to join the Promoboxx team?
I was immediately impressed by the product, but equally charmed by the atmosphere at Promoboxx. Interning at a startup is a great opportunity to have a real input and be a part of the team.
Deserted on an island, what three things do you bring?
A Blanket, my laptop, …a boat.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
Just keep swimming.
Best book you’ve ever read?
The Harry Potter series.. Cliché, I know.
What do you admire most in a brand?
Quality and creativity.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I’m a really, really bad speller. Like.. really bad. Spell check and autocorrect are my saving graces. I spelled the word Boston wrong as “Bosten” on a Geography test in the 4th grade. Spelling counted.
Ken is studying Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at Wentworth Institute of Technology
What made you want to join the Promoboxx team? I really love the start-up atmosphere and the Promoboxx idea. I used to work in retail, so I understand the need for brand content in an online setting. When I read the intern description, I knew Promoboxx was a perfect fit!
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
Never get involved in a land war in Asia.
What is one of your favorite things to do in Boston?
I really like to go to the Christian Science Center and just chill. I just find it a really good place to relax. The reflecting pool is awesome and at night its all lit up. Definitely my go to place when I’m stressed.
Do you have any hobbies?
I play drums in a punk rock band called Anonymouse. I also have a little start up recording studio that I run out of my basement! Music is definitely my favorite past time.

What is something that not many people know about you?
I don’t like chocolate. I know, I know, I must have something wrong with me right? Just don’t like it. Doesn’t taste good to me. Sorry!
What’s your favorite independent business in Boston?
I really like this food truck called Taco Party. They serve vegetarian and vegan tacos. I’m neither of those things, but the food is so good.
