I would bring a machete, a tarp and the complete works of Jane Austen.

What do you admire most in a brand?
I greatly admire any brand willing to take an enormous risk for something they truly believe in. I also love when a brand takes the time to really listen to their customers. It’s amazing to see how that feedback helps them evolve over time.

What’s your favorite independent business in Boston?
Definitely Black Ink in Harvard Square. I love being surprised by their selection of eclectic wares, and I can never resist beautiful stationery.
