Meet Promoboxx’s new Business Development Representative, Jocelyn Brown! We are so excited to welcome Jocelyn to our team, and to get to know her better, we asked her a few questions. Check out the answers below!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I grew up in a small town called Bar Harbor in Maine, which is located on Mount Desert Island (just off the coast). I graduated from Syracuse University in upstate New York with a degree in Sports Management — Go Orange!
I’ve been living in the Back Bay since October (absolutely love the neighborhood) and have been working in sales since moving to Boston.
What made you want to join the Promoboxx team?
The product and the team. During the interview process, it was evident how passionate everyone was about the company and the brands we represent.
What’s your favorite independent business in Boston?
I love Crush Boutique – especially since they have a location right next to me on Newbury Street.
Deserted on an island, what three things do you bring?
I would bring my grandma’s corgi Holly (absolute favorite dog on this planet), a phone so I could listen to music (at least until it died), and, lastly, I would bring a book.
Best book you’ve ever read?
Brain on Fire, by Susannah Cahalan – I haven’t even finished it yet, but it’s amazing.
What is one of your favorite things to do in Boston?
One of my favorite things to do is walk my roommate’s dog, Bella, on the Charles River.
Do you have any hobbies?
Currently, my biggest hobby is playing basketball. I love getting outside and shooting around at the local courts near my apartment. I could spend hours on the court…
