The Promoboxx team continues to grow! We’d like you to meet our new Brand Account Specialist, Matt Sherman. We are so excited to welcome Matt to our team, and to get to know him better, we asked him a few questions. Check out the answers below!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas, and I’m an expert snacker, reader, film buff, and outdoor enthusiast.
I graduated not too long ago from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. Before starting at Promoboxx, I had previously done three co-ops during my time at Northeastern (MFS, LevelUp, iRobot) and one internship after graduation at Mullen Lowe.
What made you want to join the Promoboxx team?
This is just an incredible company with an incredible product. It is an opportunity to truly have an impact in a market that desperately needs it. It will be exciting to help the company grow!
What’s your favorite independent business in Boston?
Bodega!
Deserted on an island, what three things do you bring?
A Snuggie, an acoustic guitar, and a humongous bag filled with a lifetime supply of Twinkies.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
You don’t truly know about something unless you can explain it to someone else.
Best book you’ve ever read?
Tie: The Corrections, by Jonathan Franzen, and Infinite Jest, by David Foster Wallace
What is one of your favorite things to do in Boston?
Celebrating in the streets when one of our home teams wins a championship!
