The Promoboxx team continues to grow! We’d like you to meet our new Senior Product Designer, Nick Holroyd. We are so excited to welcome Nick to our team, and to get to know him better, we asked him a few questions. Check out the answers below!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Visual Communications Design. I began my career working in Advertising in Chicago. From there, I transitioned into Product Design at a variety of companies such as Kayak, Vast, and Drizly. Over the last 10 years, I’ve lived in Chicago, Boston, Austin, and Boston again.
What made you want to join the Promoboxx team?
The people and the culture are what sold me.
What’s your favorite independent business in Boston?
The Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub in Central Square.
Best book you’ve ever read?
George Orwell’s 1984
What do you admire most in a brand?
Consistency in making a quality product.
What is one of your favorite things to do in Boston?
I have a yearly Aquarium pass, and I can be found there quite often.
Do you have any hobbies?
I really love cooking. I also enjoy attending concerts and music in general.
