Shoveling. Netflix. Repeat. That’s how many of our nights have been spent here in Boston as of late. What we may not be realizing though is just how many local restaurants are losing business this winter because of the snowfall and our hibernating ways. They’re open and need our support!
Boston Magazine recently reported that restaurants have gotten creative with ways to attract customers – a snow shoe valet, a place to put your skis, all-day ramen, cold weather soups and grogs, dollar oysters, half-price prix fixe menus, scratch-made hot chocolate, and even free appetizers with an Uber receipt.
Restaurants in the area have also been leveraging social media with #OpenInBOS, letting customers know their availability instantly. Check out a few examples of their creativity:
