Meet Anna, A Client Marketing Manager At Promoboxx

Q. Tell us about yourself in a tweet! (140 characters or less)

A. Start-up newbie. Amateur skier. Professional baker of cookies. Sudoku Puzzle master. Green tea enthusiast. Loves fleetwood mac cover songs.

Q. What is one of your favorite things to do in Boston?

A. I love the summertime in Boston — one of my favorite things to do on a summer evening is take a picnic to the Esplanade to watch an orchestra concert in the Hatch Shell, and watch the sun set over the Charles.

Q. Why did you decide to join the Promoboxx team?

A. The people! I got the chance to meet many members of the Promoboxx team before I signed on. It was great because it helped me know that I would fit in and love being part of this team. It’s exciting to come into work everyday when I get to work with some if the most driven and smartest people around!

Q. Do you have any hobbies?

A. I have lots of hobbies! Right now my favorites are playing the Viola in the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and volunteering in after-school programs with the Science Club for Girls in Cambridge. Call me a nerd, but two of the most important things my parents instilled in me as a kid were a love for classical music and a love for math & science. I’m happy that I can still find so much joy in playing music and sharing my love of science with brilliant young minds.

Q. What is something that not many people know about you?

A. I grew up in St. Louis (that’s in Missouri, y’all) and I’m a die hard Cardinals baseball fan (let’s not mention how I feel about Albert Pujols). Ted Drewes frozen custard is the best ice cream in the world and nothing compares to a St. Louis-style pizza and toasted ravs from Imo’s. If you know what any of those things are — we should be friends!
