We’re excited to announce that Promoboxx was accepted into the 2011 TechStars Boston program!
Techstars is known as the #1 startup accelerator in the world (or so it says on their website), but this is not why we applied. We applied for the chance to validate ourselves against some of the best new companies from around the world.
Of the 650+ applicants, only 12 companies were invited to join the program. Our fellow companies not only include Boston startups, but teams from Estonia, Israel, England, Minnesota, and Nashville.
What does this mean for Promoboxx?
It means that some of the “best, brightest, and most accomplished entrepreneurs and investors” have confidence in the Promoboxx team and platform. More practically, it means a bit of funding, office space, and above all, access to hundreds of amazing mentors dedicated to helping us build a better business.
These are some fun times for Promoboxx. We’re in a growing market, we have a passionate team, and we get to work with some amazing customers. So, expect more great things from us, because we’re not going anywhere!
