Just look at the data. In April’s edition of The (ADP) Employment Report, studies found that companies with up to 49 workers employed 2.6 percent more people in March 2012 than in 2009. This continues to be a trend. Which is why now, more than ever, supporting local businesses is critical.
Today is a day dedicated to go out and support local retailers nationwide. Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 by American Express to help small businesses thrive during the holiday season. In 2011, over one hundred million people came together to Shop Small® in their communities and this year you can be a part of this movement too.
